At the Adult Unit, there are a total of seven social workers, 4 focusing on harmful use and dependency (SoL and LVM), three social workers focusing on social psychiatry (SoL), one senior social worker, one coordinator, three treatment assistants, and one unit manager.

Your Assignment

As a senior social worker, your role includes leading and distributing the daily work within the unit. You will work towards the established goals of the organization and be driven in the development work ahead. Furthermore, you will be responsible for environmental monitoring and promoting and facilitating collaboration both internally and externally.

We are looking for someone who encourages dialogue, participation, and engagement. You have a good demeanor, enjoy collaborating, and perform your tasks with genuine interest. You should be flexible, have the ability to listen and see things from different perspectives, possess good organizational skills, and be able to express yourself very well in both speech and writing.

You need to have a good ability to understand the organization from both a client, employee, and employer perspective. You ensure that work is completed and follow up on results.

In the role of senior social worker, you provide social workers with methodological support in case management and legal issues. You always strive to maintain the legal certainty of the unit's authority work.

You are responsible for ensuring that social workers work in accordance with the political mandate and the regulations that govern our work, including quality assurance of case management.

Furthermore, as a senior social worker, you are part of the unit's management team, which means you work on behalf of the unit manager and are expected to contribute to the organization's goal work and development. An important part of the job is to be able to adapt your leadership and methodological support according to the needs of the social workers. The role also involves representing the administration in various contexts within the municipality and representing the board in administrative court.

You will work closely with a unit manager who has a clear leadership style, with a strong focus on working in a structured and thoughtful manner to ensure that the unit operates in a legally secure and efficient way.

Requirements for the Position

Mandatory:

• Degree in Social Work.
• Previous experience as a senior social worker.
• Experience in authority work.
• Good knowledge of legislation (SoL and LVM)
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate clearly as the work involves cooperation with various units and authorities.
• Driver's license.

Desirable:

• Leading without being a manager or similar leadership training.
• Several years of experience as a senior social worker.
• Experience as a senior social worker in the area of harmful use and dependency and/or social psychiatry.
• Previous experience in harmful use and dependency and/or social psychiatry.
• Experience with the methods IBIC and ASI.
• Experience and knowledge of evidence-based methods used in harmful use and dependency care.
• Knowledge/experience of the operational systems Combine and Treserva.
• Work according to the new Social Services Act, such as in the form of interventions without needs assessment, IUB.

To obtain employment, a certificate from the Police's criminal record must be presented.
