About the Job
We are looking for two curious and enthusiastic social workers to join our team at Barn och Unga 2 in Hjällbo, where many colleagues possess broad expertise and provide great collegial support.
As a social worker at Barn och Unga, we investigate the needs of children and young people for protection and support, and follow up on interventions according to current legislation (Sol and LVU). We are passionate about those we serve!
Who Are We?
The Barn och Unga 2 unit is growing and will consist of 15 social workers, three senior social workers, and a unit manager, allowing for close supervision and good support from management. The unit works with innovative working hours (6:2), which means that within your 8-hour workday, you have the opportunity for 2 hours of reflection. We actively strive for high quality in our case management and continuously learn about the authority work we engage in. We appreciate each other, enjoy working together, and value development. We maintain an open climate, leverage our diverse skills and abilities, and have a strong team spirit within the unit. Each individual contributes to the overall well-being, and we support one another.
In the Nordost social administration, we provide a comprehensive introduction for newly hired social workers and a solid supply of training with various focuses for social workers. We work with Signs of Safety, MPV, EARL, SAVRY, ERASOR, and LÖSA. We have a FAS system that allows us to structure and plan our work satisfactorily. Together with the entire administration, we are entering an exciting implementation of the new Sol.
We collaborate with many different actors, which enables us to resolve many challenging situations with high quality. The work at Barn och Unga is diverse and can be demanding at times, but those of us who work here find it rewarding and fulfilling. It is important for us to focus on the right issues, and currently, we are actively working on structuring and optimizing our time to provide the best possible service to our clients.
As a social worker with us, you will be offered regular methodological supervision both individually and in groups. The workgroups have external supervision once a month, where everyone has the opportunity to address what is needed. There is also the possibility to work from home, providing flexibility in planning your work hours. We have a health inspirator and a well-being group within the unit. We also have a social administrator connected to our unit.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a degree in social work, as this is a requirement for the position. Experience in authority work related to children and youth is considered an asset. Experience in other areas of authority work, as well as specific expertise in areas such as attachment, substance abuse, honor-related violence, and domestic violence, is also advantageous. A driving license (B) is seen as a merit.
We seek someone who takes responsibility for their own and the shared tasks with the best interests of the organization/client in focus and understands their role as a social worker in a politically governed organization. You take your responsibilities seriously, are committed to completing what you start, and ensure that the work is carried out in a legally secure manner. The work can be stressful at times, and you need to be prepared to adapt to the needs of the organization.
In our profession, it is important to show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role, as well as to be attentive and good at listening to understand others' needs. You operate from the principle of equal value for all and create a positive atmosphere in meetings and with your colleagues. As we need to maintain legally secure documentation, you must be meticulous and organized and enjoy writing. Furthermore, you use your time effectively and work systematically, organized, and methodically. We place great importance on personal suitability.
We warmly welcome your application!
