The position starts as a part-time job with the possibility of transitioning to a fixed-term employment of 75% as long as the assignment lasts.

About me:
I am a 54-year-old woman and mother of two wonderful adult daughters. I am wheelchair-bound and need assistance with everything in daily life, such as hygiene, dressing, outdoor activities, exercise, leisure, travel, and more.

GIL has been coordinating personal assistance since 1989. The cooperative has roots in the Independent Living movement, which is based on the principle that those with disabilities know best how they want to live their lives. Usually, the person entitled to assistance is the closest supervisor of the assistants, or a person with special knowledge about the individual is appointed.

As a personal assistant, you support a person with a disability to live the life they want to live. To attract and retain competent and satisfied assistants, we invest in training and events. We believe that development and meeting others lead to motivated and secure assistants who enjoy and find it fun to work with us.

• GIL has a collective agreement with Fremia-communal.
• GIL offers its employees up to 2,500 SEK/year in contributions for wellness and health.
• GIL applies individual salary setting. Salary according to agreement.
