Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a teacher who wants to teach our students in grades 7-9 in Swedish/Swedish as a second language and be part of the SV/SVA team that works together in a three-teacher system for grades 7-9. You will belong to one of the school’s working teams, grades 7-9, where you will also be a mentor for about 12 students of different ages. As a teacher at Kvibergsskolan, you will have the opportunity to work in different teams where you collaborate around students, planning, and assessment. We are looking for someone who enjoys working interdisciplinary, thematically, and value-creating in an innovative way by being a valuable employee in our ongoing work to develop the school.

Qualifications

To apply for the position, it is a requirement that you have a teaching license with qualifications in Swedish and Swedish as a second language for grades 7-9. It is an advantage if you are also qualified in German and/or proficient in Mandarin. We see multilingualism as an asset. It is also an advantage if you speak another language besides Swedish and English.

You always have the student’s learning at the center, where your approach shows that you have a strong belief that all students do right if they can. You can, want, and allow yourself and others to be part of a collegial learning environment to increase the quality of teaching for all students, which in turn leads to increased goal fulfillment for the entire school. Your interest in each student means that you consciously adapt content and methods in teaching for each situation. You demonstrate a good ability to improve students' academic results and have a strong interest and commitment to developing teaching. You enjoy challenges and like to be a pioneer with us.

Furthermore, you have the ability to create really good relationships with students, which makes you and the team the most powerful tool to maintain both safety and study peace in and outside of school. You have differentiated teaching that includes all students and you are prepared to try and constantly reassess your methodology to meet the needs present in the group your team is responsible for. You are curious about and prepared to work based on the operational idea that has been developed, and you are both brave and unpretentious enough to continue developing it together with us.
