As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating structured teaching in a middle school class. We strive for you to have as broad a qualification as possible. This is to ensure the best possible security for the students. You stimulate and motivate students to develop and fulfill your role as an educator based on current governing documents.

You will be part of the middle school's work team together with other educators where you collectively create a safe and pedagogically enriching environment.

About the employer

Brandströmska school is run by the Foundation for Christian School Activities. The foundation is non-profit, and the school is confessional and has existed for 35 years. We operate school activities on a Christian basis without ties to any specific denomination. The school is a F-9 school with approximately 410 students. We have about 20 students per class. The students mainly come from the northeastern districts of Gothenburg.

We prioritize work around language development, inclusion, and safety & study peace. We also believe it is important to create good relationships with our students.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license and is well acquainted with the curriculum and other applicable governing documents. You find it easy to translate theory into practical action in your work with children. Naturally, you are passionate about children's development and learning.

You value people's differences and want to be an active player in the school's values work.

You are secure and stable. You have a strong social security in meetings with students, parents, and colleagues. You contribute to a positive collaborative climate in the workplace.

You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
