Bogesundskolan is a preschool to grade 6 school located in the central parts of Ulricehamn. We are a school with approximately 460 students with three parallel classes in each grade and three after-school care departments. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The position involves working as a teacher in preschool class and may also include teaching in the lower grades of primary school. The assignment also includes work in after-school care. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in accordance with applicable governing documents.

You create clear, structured, and safe learning environments that promote study peace and support each student's knowledge development. The work includes active work with extra adaptations and special support in close collaboration with colleagues and student health services, as well as adapting teaching based on students' different needs and conditions.

The assignment also includes mentorship and professional collaboration with guardians, where you ensure good communication and continuous follow-ups of students' development. You actively participate in the team's joint planning and development work, contribute to collegial learning, and work both proactively and preventively based on the school's values.

Documentation of students' learning, needs, and interventions is carried out systematically and legally as a natural part of the assignment. You are accustomed to working based on a systematic quality work and use current research as support to develop and enhance the quality of the educational activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a strong and genuine commitment to teaching, teaching development, and meeting students in need of special support. You are experienced in working with younger students and have a clear focus on ensuring that the school's values permeate your daily work.

You work in a structured and goal-oriented manner and have the ability to create a safe, inclusive, and learning environment where each student is given the opportunity to develop based on their individual conditions. Documented experience of working with students with neuropsychiatric disabilities is an advantage.

You have good skills in adapting teaching and creating clear structures that support both individuals and groups. You are experienced in planning, implementing, and following up on teaching based on applicable governing documents and use formative assessment as a natural part of your pedagogical work.

We value that you are relationship-building, secure in your professional role, and communicate professionally with students, colleagues, and guardians. You enjoy collaborating in teams and actively contribute to the school's joint development work.

For work in after-school care, it is desirable that you have a conscious approach to high-quality care, where the focus is on children's development and learning through creativity, play, creation, and meaningful activities.

For the position, you must be a certified teacher or preschool teacher with qualifications for work in preschool class, after-school care, or the lower grades of primary school. Through education and experience, you have good pedagogical insight and are well acquainted with the school's mission, governing documents, and the laws and agreements that regulate the operations.

OTHER

Selection and interviews will be conducted continuously during the advertising period. There may be opportunities for extension or permanent employment, provided that the needs of the operations remain and that necessary decisions are made.
