At Backaskolan, we have a holistic view of knowledge and learning, and we see the ability to collaborate as fundamental to development. The vision for Backaskolan is educators who work closely together and focus on students' learning and development both during school and leisure time. A team consisting of three teachers with complementary competencies shares responsibility for both school and leisure activities and follows their group throughout the day and the entire school time, grades F-3. Backaskolan started in the autumn of 2017. The school is built close to nature, which has inspired both the choice of materials and furnishings. In the restaurant, meals are prepared from scratch, and much of what we serve consists of ingredients that have been rescued from going to waste. The premises are designed for flexible teaching with a large common room and several smaller and larger group rooms in each home area. The flexibility in the design of the premises aligns with the school's vision of stimulating, enjoyable, and creative learning environments. We want to create varied teaching, where students are given the opportunity to participate and work in different ways and in different constellations. We work with cooperative learning (KL), digital tools, experimental elements, use different learning environments both indoors and outdoors, and see subjects as parts of a thematic approach. Backaskolan has a local agreement with vacation service and the possibility of flexibility for all educational staff.

Your Assignment

The position is temporary and the scope is 80%. You will be part of the team's daily pedagogical work and implementation (both during school and leisure time). You are also part of the entire school operation, which means collaboration, planning, pedagogical discussions, and professional development together with the school's other teams.

Requirements for the Position

We are looking for someone with a teaching degree who wants to take extra responsibility for students who need a little extra time and engagement.

Furthermore, we are looking for:

• someone who contributes to creating good relationships and considers everyone's needs in the planning and implementation of the group's collective learning.
• someone who makes students active participants and co-creators in everyday work and is a secure leader who can also take a step back and allow both students and colleagues to shine.
• someone who is interested in and accustomed to using various tools and working methods.
• someone who wants to help build a good work environment and has a strong interest and desire to develop the operations for the future.
• someone who sees the benefits of working in all areas of the school's educational activities and takes joint responsibility for the student's entire day, both during school and leisure time.
