JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for someone who takes responsibility for their own courses, mentors students, and acts for a positive impact on the work environment and the school's development. In the role of vocational teacher in electrical subjects with us, you will have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge in relevant subjects while sharing your expertise with our students. APL (workplace-based learning) is part of your responsibilities along with the work team. You are a significant part of the students' development, but you are also an important part of Gymnasium Skövde's continued development.

You will be part of a team with electrical teachers and teachers in common subjects. The program is an ETG partner school.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to youth and who enjoys working with students' learning. We want you to have qualifications as an electrical technician/electrician in the industry or knowledge in property automation. Certification is an advantage. Perhaps you are curious about transitioning to the education sector after several years as an electrical technician/electrician. Teacher training can take place during your employment.

You are open to new working methods and have a positive view of people. You are also responsible and results-oriented and are eager to take on new challenges. Our operations are based on continuous collaboration and development, which means it is important that you also have good cooperation skills in relation to students, teachers, guardians, and other partners both within and outside your own organization.

Students are at the center, and it is important that you as a person fit into the organization, which is why we place great emphasis on personal suitability.

To start working in preschool, school, after-school care, and other educational activities, you must provide an extract from the criminal record. The extract is valid for one year and can be ordered from the National Police Board www.polisen.se.

Those who do not provide an extract from the criminal record cannot be employed, contracted, or received in the organization according to current legal requirements.
