Kungsängen Health Center is an operation within primary care in the Stockholm County Health Care Area (SLSO), which is one of Sweden's largest healthcare providers.
Our employees make a difference now and in the future. Kungsängen Health Center is located in a scenic area in the center with a 3-5 minute walk from the commuter train station. We are a team consisting of general practitioners, ST doctors, licensed doctors, AT doctors, district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, social workers, REKO, and foot care specialists. We have close collaboration with Rehab for team visits and BVC where we have medical services and BMM located in the same building.
We have a unique nurse-led reception where we offer high availability regarding first-line psychiatric assessments. At an early stage, we use assessment instruments as a complement in our evaluation. We then meet the patient based on their care needs through support conversations or CBT.

Job Description:
The work involves all tasks associated with a nurse/district nurse in home care at the health center.
As a district nurse in primary care, you meet patients of all ages and from different cultures for both planned and acute visits as well as telephone advice, etc. Patients have a variety of diseases and problems. The work requires broad competence and independence. It is an important and varied job with the opportunity to vary tasks.
Requirements:
Nurse or district nurse with prescribing rights and authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare.
Experience working in Swedish healthcare, preferably primary care, is an advantage. Good computer skills and experience with the TakeCare journal system are also advantageous.
Employment Type:
Permanent employment. Full-time 100%, part-time can possibly be discussed. A probationary period may apply. Working hours Monday-Friday. Start date according to agreement.

You need to be flexible, responsible, service-oriented, and have an easy time collaborating as well as working both independently and in a team. A good and respectful approach to patients, relatives, and colleagues, as well as the ability to share knowledge and information, is of utmost importance. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and that you fit into the workgroup.

For patient-related work within Stockholm County Health Care Area:
- background checks will be applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
- employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
- in addition to Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
