We are looking for a colleague for our midwifery clinic in Rinkeby!

The clinic is located in Rinkeby center, only 16 minutes from Stockholm Central and is part of a family center, where we collaborate closely with other professionals and actively participate in various development areas within the municipality.

Organizationally, we belong to Midwifery Clinics Stockholm North within SLSO (Stockholm County Healthcare Area). The organization includes a total of 14 midwifery clinics, divided into four clusters that collaborate closely. Our clinics stretch from Märsta in the north to Kungsholmen in the south. Each unit manager is responsible for 3-4 clinics, and we are a total of about 70 employees within the organization.

About the position:

At the clinic, midwives work together with doctors and the unit manager. As a midwife, you are primarily responsible for the woman, but also for the child, family, youth, young adults, and older women. The work includes usual tasks such as:

  • Pregnancy checks
  • Parental support
  • Cervical screening
  • Physical and digital visits related to sexual and reproductive health
  • Home visits, first aftercare in the home

Your assignment also includes being able to lead, develop, and evaluate different groups – something you see as an exciting opportunity.

In your role, you will also be able to lead, develop, and evaluate different groups – an exciting opportunity for you who want to influence and contribute to the development of our operations. You will be placed at our clinic in Spånga-Tensta BMM, but may also work at other clinics within the BMM Stockholm North cluster.

Qualifications:

We are now looking for you who are a licensed midwife with prescribing rights.

Meritorious:

  • Experience in maternal health care and supervisor training is meritorious
  • Familiarity with the journal systems Obstetrix and Take Care

Employment form:

Permanent employment. Full-time 100%. Working hours Monday to Friday. A probationary period may be applied. Start date according to agreement.

  • background checks will be applied before a decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
  • employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health care before employment.
  • In addition to Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
