About You

On behalf of our client in Klippan, we are looking for a mature personal assistant who is attentive to our client's needs and wishes.

We are currently seeking staff for a fixed schedule of approximately 50% as well as on-call substitutes. At the client’s home, you will primarily work day or night shifts (with on-call duties), and overnight shifts may occur.

It is important for us that you connect with the client you will be working with and that you are responsive to their needs and wishes. You should be empathetic and respect the client's privacy. You have a good sense of humor and are prepared to make independent decisions. You are responsible and easy to collaborate with, calm, and patient. You have the ability to step back when necessary. You should be solution-oriented and enjoy challenges in your work. A good work ethic is a must, as well as fluent Swedish in both speech and writing. You should have good physical fitness as some lifting is required; of course, there are aids such as lifts available.

The client is a young woman in her 20s with an intellectual disability and CP injury. She leads an active life and is very interested in music and going out to do fun activities such as swimming, shopping, and concerts. The client's disability means she requires constant supervision and motivation in daily activities. The workgroup employs a low-arousal approach.

The client does not communicate verbally but uses body language and partially visual support.

You can work days, evenings, and weekends. Personal assistance is provided at all hours of the day where the client is present. Experience in personal assistance is an advantage. You will become part of a fantastic team that works together with and for the client.

Your Responsibilities

Tasks relevant to the profession. This can range from individualized care to household chores. Assistance is primarily provided in the client’s home but also involves accompanying them on activities outside the home. You will work in a supportive and motivating manner. Training will be provided on-site and through Monument Assistans.
