JOB DESCRIPTION

As a social worker in our department for children and youth, you will have an exciting and varied job where you help create safety and support for children and young people in vulnerable situations. You will work both independently and in a team. With us, you will be an important part of protecting, strengthening, and developing the future.
Your tasks include:
- Responsibility and planning for independent cases with investigation and assessment according to SoL and LVU for children and young people aged 0-21 years.
- Motivational work with children, young people, and their families.
- Follow-up of ongoing efforts and regular documentation.
- Collaboration with internal colleagues and external actors such as schools, BUP, police, and other authorities.
- Decision-making based on current legislation.

QUALIFICATIONS
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who has a strong commitment to social work with children and youth. We see that you are proactive and see opportunities rather than limitations. You have the ability to remain calm even in stressful situations. You can work independently and in a team, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and have the ability to adapt to changes. We seek someone who has an open and positive attitude and a strong empathetic ability.
To thrive in the role, we believe you have a good understanding of how society functions and are comfortable guiding, informing, and advising the families you meet. You show interest and understanding for others and contribute to creating a team spirit by listening, consulting, and supporting your colleagues. We place great importance on personal qualities and that you are the right person for our team.
Formal Qualifications
- Degree in social work or another higher education that can be assessed as equivalent.
- Knowledge of the legislation SoL and LVU, as well as experience in investigations in the field.
- Experience in authority work regarding children and youth.
- Regular documentation is part of your tasks, which requires proficiency in the Swedish language in both speech and writing, as well as good computer skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive a car.
We use the successful methods BBIC and Signs of Safety, which means we focus on building strong and sustainable solutions together with the children and families we support. Knowledge and experience with these methods is an advantage.
We may apply a probationary period for the position.
