Unit Accounting Responsible

For our client, a world-leading company in truck and bus manufacturing, SJR is now appointing a Unit Accounting Responsible to one of our client's accounting units. The company is located in fine premises in Södertälje with good communications. This is a consulting assignment initially for 6 months starting as soon as possible. For the right person, there is a possibility of extension thereafter. The company applies a hybrid model where you are expected to work on-site in Södertälje about 2-3 days a week. For this assignment, we are looking for someone who wants to be employed as a consultant with occupational pension according to collective agreements.

About the role

The role of Unit Accounting Responsible includes tasks such as bank and account reconciliations, ongoing bookkeeping, as well as year-end closing and group reporting. The role also means that you will be responsible for actively driving improvements in the area of accounting and reporting through projects and other improvement groups where it is important to translate needs into clear goals and deliveries.

• Monthly group reporting
• Bank and account reconciliations
• Efficiency work and process development

Suitable background

We believe you have some form of post-secondary education in economics and about 2-3 years of experience in similar tasks. You speak and write fluently in Swedish & English and are skilled in Excel. Experience with the Oracle business system is a strong merit.
