Experienced QC Specialist for a Global Company in Uppsala

About the Assignment As a QC specialist, you will play a key role in the laboratory quality work. Unlike a purely analytical role, the emphasis here is on review, assessment, and release. You will work in a GMP-controlled environment and have daily contact with Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure that processes and products meet established requirements.

Responsibilities

Your main tasks:

• Review and Release: QC acceptance and review of analytical results prior to the release of raw materials.
• Deviations: Lead and document investigations of deviations (OO/OOS) and drive CAPA work.
• LIMS: Administration and management of data in LIMS.
• QA Dialogue: Act as a contact person towards QA and ensure effective communication regarding quality issues.

We are looking for someone who To take on this specialist role, you need to be confident in your skills and have extensive industry experience.

Qualifications

Requirements for the position:

• Education: Scientific university degree (BSc/MSc/Engineering with a focus on chemistry) or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 5 years of industrial work experience in QC (Quality Control).
• System Experience: Very good experience working in LIMS.
• Quality Work: Documented experience in QC acceptance/release of raw materials and handling of deviations.
• Language: You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Regulations: Very good knowledge and work experience in a GMP environment.

Personal Attributes In this role, your communication skills are crucial. Since you work closely with QA and other departments, you need to be clear, cooperative, and diplomatic, while also maintaining integrity in your quality assessments.

You are analytical and structured with the ability to see the big picture in the flow from sampling to release. As a specialist, you are expected to work independently, take initiative, and act as a problem solver in complex issues.
