Administrator for the Air Staff's Finance Department

The Air Staff's Finance Department supports the leadership of the Air Force and the Air Staff in everything from budget work and follow-up to financial management and development of work methods. We are a fast-paced department with great responsibility and a strong team spirit – and now we are looking for an administrator who wants to be the hub of our daily work.
Approximately 5,100 employees work within the Air Force, of which about 400 are at the Air Staff. The Air Staff is the support for the Air Force Chief in leading the air combat forces, including all squadrons and schools in the Air Force at all levels of the conflict scale.
Main Responsibilities
You will support and administer the department's daily operations, future planning, and collaborate with various entities within the Air Staff, the Air Force, and the Armed Forces as well as with other organizations.
Examples of Tasks
- Coordinate meetings, bookings, travel administration, and calendar management
- Support the department head and sections with administrative tasks
- Input data for work time planning and shift planning
- Support the department's long-term planning, coordination, and implementation of activities
- Responsible for document management and internal communication
- Contribute to the development of our internal routines and work methods
- Other administrative tasks.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- High school education with passing grades
- Relevant administrative education or current and relevant work experience that the employer can assess as equivalent
- Very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
- Good knowledge of using digital tools and the Office suite
- Driver's license B.

DESIRABLE
- Experience from the public sector, the Armed Forces, or another authority
- Experience working in the Armed Forces' support systems (SAP) PRIO, VIDAR, Emilia, etc.
- Certified administrator
- Knowledge of the Armed Forces' organization and operations
- Familiar with staff working methods.

Other
Employment form: Permanent civil employment. The Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those who are not employed by the authority.

The primary and largest task of the Air Staff is to support the Air Force Chief in leading all squadrons and schools in the Air Force at all levels of the conflict scale. The Air Staff develops, plans, implements, and evaluates orders and directives issued by the Air Force Chief. The Air Staff consists of approximately 350 employees. The Air Force organizes and trains air, base, and command units and is tasked with monitoring and protecting Sweden's airspace. This is a mission that continues around the clock, year-round, to ensure Sweden's integrity. Approximately 5,100 employees, both civilian and military, work within the Air Force.

Employment with us means placement in a security class. Usually, Swedish citizenship is required.
