We are driving an entire industry towards better conditions and higher quality. The cleaning industry should, of course, be clean, with collective agreements, fair conditions, career opportunities — and good leadership. Today, we have an Area Manager with personnel responsibility in place, and now we are expanding our team with another one. This is where you (perhaps) come into the picture: as our new Area Manager.

Your role: You give good leadership a face!

As an Area Manager, you are a very important part of the good leadership in our company. You have overall responsibility for the staff in your team, for employee engagement, well-being, and work. Quality and customer satisfaction are two of our cornerstones, and your work is largely about the daily operations to ensure quality, satisfied customers, and good results according to the business plan's goals. Employees who thrive and do a good job are, of course, a prerequisite, and you actively work with recruitment, onboarding, and ensuring effective staffing in collaboration with your colleagues. You are a significant bearer of culture who promotes good cooperation, and you actively contribute to the development of the office and the business. Your tasks:

  • Lead and develop employees in your own team. Everyone should thrive in our workplace!
  • Drive profitability in your area, in your role through an optimized schedule and effective staffing planning.
  • Actively contribute to the development of the office and the business
  • Plan and follow up on work with quality monitoring and quality controls.
  • Recruitment and administration regarding employment and terminations.
  • Salary and time reporting
  • Handle daily personnel matters as well as development and salary conversations.

We are looking for someone with previous experience in leadership, administrative work, and service at your fingertips. You enjoy working with people, and because you are inclusive and respectful, people enjoy working with you. Problems are meant to be solved, you think, and you are happy to take initiative and always take responsibility. Actively and engaged, you work to achieve good results and create a well-being and engaged team.  You are comfortable managing different tasks simultaneously, and you can quickly redirect when the situation requires it — of course, without compromising on quality. You enjoy it when there is a lot happening! Your drive is likely the desire to develop others and your great interest in people.

To succeed in this position, we believe you have:

  • Documented good experience in leading and distributing work in teams
  • Good leadership skills
  • Good collaboration and communication skills
  • A burning interest in people, and a natural way of spreading joy around you.
  • Good computer and system skills, preferably experience from LIME
  • Fluent Swedish and good knowledge of English in speech and writing
  • Driver's license

About the position

Primarily, your working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday. Travel and overnight stays occur mainly in connection with internal training. Your team currently consists of several Team Leaders and Service Assistants for whom you have direct personnel responsibility. You also have several office staff to assist you, including salespeople, customer support, and your immediate manager. Together, you work to become even – Better together.

Location: Home office Uppsala

Employment: 100%, 6 months probationary period.

Start date: Immediate or by agreement.
