At the Environmental and Community Planning Administration, you will work with the municipality's physical planning and development while making a difference through regulatory activities and advice in areas such as environment, construction, food safety, infection control, and much more. RESPONSIBILITIES

As a water strategist, you will play a key role in the municipality's work with strategic water issues. Your main responsibilities include:

• Development, updating, and follow-up of strategic documents in the water sector, such as water plans, water service plans, and stormwater plans.
• Responsibility for the municipality's internal organization for water issues, which involves collaboration between three administrations at the political and management levels.
• Advising within your area of expertise in detailed planning and project implementation.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree with a focus on water, such as a limnologist, biologist, or similar.
• Good ability to express oneself in speech and writing.

• Has a structured approach to work where you plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively. You set and adhere to deadlines.

Desirable

• Experience from similar tasks as a strategist or coordinator.
• Experience working in a politically governed organization.
• Limnological education.
• Experience working with environmental quality standards/status classification and permit applications.
• Experience working with stormwater from an ecological/biological perspective.
