About the Job

Our unit is responsible for the taxation of all the country's non-profit and economic associations, foundations, and religious communities.

You will work with the processing and investigation of cases that vary in scope and complexity. This means you will analyze and assess different types of documentation. You will request additional information via phone, mail, and digital mailboxes in your contacts with individuals, companies, and associations. With the support of laws and regulations, you will assess the documentation and make decisions. Some cases are simple and quick while others take more time. You will work either with income taxation, VAT, business registration, or with multiple areas simultaneously.

You will belong to the Corporate Taxation Unit 7, and your place of employment will be Mariestad or Uppsala. We work in teams, so besides Mariestad and Uppsala, you will have colleagues in Västervik. You plan your own workday and drive your cases both independently and in collaboration with others. As part of our teams, you will have the opportunity to develop and work with fantastic colleagues. The work is varied, and you will learn and gain new knowledge both broadly and in depth. The job also involves many contacts, for example, with customers and other authorities. You have flexible working hours, and it is a given for us that you should have a balance between work and leisure.

• a university degree of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits) in economics or law.

It is desirable that you have current and relevant work experience in case handling tasks. It is also desirable that you have current and relevant work experience in economics or law.

Good to Know

The employment is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period.

Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security check with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in the security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
