Our client in Västerås is looking for a driven and quality-oriented System and Application Tester within industrial automation and robotics. The role involves working with complete system solutions that include software, electronics, and robotic equipment, with the goal of ensuring high product quality in newly developed products. You will be an important part of a team that tests integrated solutions in various applications and contributes to developing efficient working methods and processes.

In this role, you will work with testing at the system and application level, handling everything from configuring and verifying robotic cells to programming industrial robots. You will develop and execute test cases and document results and test materials. The work also involves creating and updating test specifications, collaborating closely with international solution centers, and ensuring good communication with product owners to clarify expectations and develop relevant support materials. You will actively contribute to the improvement of processes and working methods within the project. The role is based on established engineering principles where, under overall guidance, you are expected to make professional assessments and contribute to the team's efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Experience in system and application testing within automation, robotics, or a similar industrial environment

• Programming skills in RAPID and C#

• Good understanding of robotic systems and electronic hardware

• Ability to work in a structured and quality-oriented manner

• Strong organizational skills, self-driven, and results-oriented

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written

• Engineering degree at the bachelor’s or master’s level and 2–6 years of relevant experience, or other technical education combined with approximately 10–15 years of industry experience

Meritorious:

• Very good knowledge of Swedish

• Experience working in global development environments

The work is performed on-site in Västerås. The position is full-time, and the assignment runs from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026.
