ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Junior Emission Engineer, you will play an important role in our efforts to ensure that our gas turbines meet both legal requirements and customer-specific emission guarantees. The role is technically advanced and strategically important for our sustainability agenda.
Your responsibilities:
- Perform measurements and mapping of emissions during gas turbine testing
- Analyze emission data (NOx, NH₃, COx, formaldehyde)
- Support the sales team and customers with questions regarding emission guarantees and performance
- Contribute to life cycle analyses (LCA) to develop cleaner energy solutions
- Work with advanced measurement systems in our testing facilities
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone who is analytical and has the ability to interpret complex data and draw the right conclusions. You work meticulously and ensure that measurements and analyses maintain high quality, which is crucial to meet customer requirements and guarantees. Furthermore, you are collaborative and enjoy working in a team, contributing to common goals and developing solutions together with colleagues from various disciplines.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in mechanical engineering, energy systems, technical physics, electrical engineering, or equivalent
- Good analytical skills and interest in sustainable energy
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
Preferred qualifications:
- Knowledge of international emission standards and environmental legislation
- Experience in interdisciplinary work between technical and commercial departments
- Attention to detail and interest in sustainability issues
