Your Role
We are now looking for a meticulous and responsible quality inspector for our detail manufacturing. In this role, you will work with quality control of machined and turned sheet metal articles, ensuring that our products meet high-quality standards. You will perform measurements using coordinate measuring machines, hardness testers, conductivity meters, and manual measuring tools.
An important part of the job is to analyze and evaluate measurement results and present them to the quality department. The operation is characterized by great variation as the detail manufacturing delivers components to all projects, providing a diverse and developing everyday work life.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections of details in detail manufacturing
- Measure and control details using measuring machines and manual measuring tools
- Evaluate, document, and report measurement results
- Collaborate with internal support functions
- Participate in meetings and projects together with other functions as needed
The position is located in Tannefors Linköping, and the working hours are night shifts or 2-shift.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who is communicative and enjoys collaborating with different functions within the organization. You have a keen eye for detail and work in a careful, structured, and quality-conscious manner. With a genuine technical interest, you easily grasp technical documentation and measurement methods.
You are proactive and work independently with a great sense of responsibility, while also being confident in making your own decisions in daily work. Collaboration is a given for you, and you actively contribute to good cooperation with colleagues and other departments.
Experience from the industry, preferably in measurement technology, quality, or a similar field, is an advantage.
Other Requirements for the Position:
- Completed high school education, with a technical focus being an advantage.
- Very good computer skills
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, there may be requirements for certain citizenship.
