The Position Offers
As a technical officer within Technical System Support, you will play a central role in strengthening the technical capabilities of the units. You will work closely with the operations, lead training, and provide technical support that directly impacts K 3's ability to fulfill its tasks — in everyday life, during exercises, and in missions.
This is a position for you who want to work with advanced systems, deepen your technical expertise, and actively contribute to the development of technical services at K 3. You will be part of an experienced team where quality, collaboration, and professionalism are key values.

About the Department
The Technical Department (TekA) belongs to the Logistics Unit (LogE) and is responsible for the ongoing technical maintenance of the garrison. The department provides technical expert support to the units through training, system support, and advice on material and functional issues.
TekA consists of two sections:
- Technical Customer Reception (TKM): responsible for customer contact, planning maintenance, and operating the care facility.
- Technical System Support (TSS): works with training, operational support, supervision, and repairs – and supports the units during exercises and in daily operations.
About the Section
As a technical officer at TSS, you will work with some of the military's most central material systems on the ground arena. You are expected to have a good technical understanding, experience interpreting maintenance processes, and experience working in PRIO and LIFT or a willingness to quickly develop such competence.
TSS is responsible for:
- Training within technical services
- Functional management at squadron and battalion level
- Technical services during exercises
- Troop repairs and technical operational support
- Repairs and supervision within ground systems
In this position, you will have the opportunity to specialize in your technical area and contribute to developing routines, working methods, and technical training within the garrison.
Main Responsibilities
- Plan, lead, and conduct training within technical services
- Manage and follow up information in the support systems PRIO and LIFT
- Support other units within the garrison
- Conduct technical operational support and functional management within your area
- Participate in exercises and field operations
- Contribute to the development of technical methods and processes within the section
Requirements
Qualifications
- Approved SOU with a technical focus
- B driver's license (manual transmission)
- Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English
- Good computer skills, including the Office suite
Meritorious
- Experience with PRIO and LIFT
- C driver's license
- Experience in technical services at squadron/company/battalion level

The Life Regiment Hussars, K 3, has fast and effective units and a long experience in the intelligence field. K 3 trains a ranger battalion and an intelligence battalion.
The ranger battalion is a unit with high mobility that should be able to be the first on-site for a mission. The intelligence battalion delivers intelligence by using advanced technology, personnel on the ground, and unmanned aerial vehicles (RPAS).
At K 3, there is also the Armed Forces' survival school and the Aviation Unit, which is responsible for remotely piloted aircraft systems and military parachuting. Support functions such as the Garrison Unit and the Logistics Unit are also present. Please read more on this page.
