Do you want to work practically, solve problems, and contribute directly to the capabilities of the units? As a mechanic at Technical System Support (TSS), you become part of the technical backbone that enables K 3's units to train, operate, and accomplish their tasks every day.

You will work with a wide range of systems in the land arena, from vehicles and weapons to communications, optics, and medical materials. The position is varied, developmental, and gives you the opportunity to build a broad technical competence that is in demand both within the Armed Forces and in civilian life.

The work takes place close to the operations, with frequent contacts with other units within the garrison. You will be an important part of a team where you receive responsibility, trust, and support from experienced technicians and instructors.

About the Department

The Technical Department (TekA) is part of the Logistics Unit (LogE) and is responsible for the ongoing technical maintenance of the garrison. The department provides technical expert support to the units through training, system support, and advice on material and functional issues.

TekA consists of two sections:

• Technical Customer Reception (TKM) – is the garrison's main referral regarding material maintenance.
• Technical System Support (TSS) – is the garrison's coordinating referral regarding technical system support for land material.

About the Section

At TSS, you work in a group with extensive experience in land systems and technical services. You are expected to have a technical interest and a desire to develop.

The section is responsible for:

• Operational support to the units
• Repairs and troop repairs
• Technical training for personnel within K 3
• Support during exercises and operations in the field

Here, you will have a daily routine where you work both in the workshop and are out close to the units when the equipment needs to function — regardless of weather, time, or place.

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct repairs and inspections on the garrison's equipment
• Support during technical training
• Deepen your knowledge in land technology
• Support other parts of K 3 as needed
• Contribute to the ongoing work and development of the section

Requirements

Qualifications

• Completed and approved military service, preferably with a technical focus
• Driver's license (manual transmission)

Meritorious

• Civil technical education
• Current and relevant experience working with vehicles, mechanics, IT, electrical, or telecommunications materials
• Driver's license C

Other

Employment type: Fixed-term employment (GSS/K) according to applicable agreement. 8 years, with the possibility of extending to 12 years.
Probationary employment: The Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those not employed within the authority.
