Welcome to us

Preschool area 3 consists of eleven preschools of varying sizes; from two-group to seven-group preschools located in the areas of Enskede Gård and Stureby.

We have over 120 employees and we need to hire substitutes daily when our staff are absent.

Your role

As a substitute with us, you will work alongside regular educators and assist in various activities and routine situations that occur in a preschool, such as outdoor activities, dressing and undressing, excursions, story reading, playing in the sandbox, creative activities, etc., to create enjoyable, educational, and fun days for our children. We would like you to be able to step in at short notice and that you are reachable in the morning as our administrator plans staffing at the preschools.

Qualifications and experience

We are now looking for more on-call substitutes and we are looking for you who enjoy working with children, are flexible, social, curious, and show initiative. It is a plus if you are a trained childcare worker, but it is not a requirement.

Application

To work in a preschool, you need an extract from the police criminal record, which you can request if you are interested in working with us. The City of Stockholm works with competence-based recruitment aimed at recognizing each person's skills and thus counteracting discrimination.

Enskede Årsta Vantör is one of 11 district administrations in the City of Stockholm. As part of the City of Stockholm, the administration offers preschool and leisure, care for the elderly and disabled, social services, preventive and safety-promoting work, urban development, and park maintenance to our 105,000 Stockholmers living in the district. We face exciting challenges as the Enskede Årsta Vantör district grows and entirely new neighborhoods are built. Approximately 18,000 new apartments are planned by 2030.
