About the Assignment:

Our client is a man with visual impairment and balance issues who needs help and support in his home. He requires assistance with all transfers and prefers to walk with you as support. For longer walks, he uses a wheelchair and needs support during hygiene situations. He also needs help preparing food and drinks and taking care of the dishes that cooking generates. He has a hearing impairment that makes him most comfortable in quiet environments. The man lives in Hägersten, and there are good transport links to get there, but it is preferable if you live within walking distance.

Your Qualifications:

• You should be a calm person with clear speech.
• To assist the client safely during transfers, you need to be at least 160 cm tall.
• You have the ability to see what needs to be done and enjoy having a clean environment around you.
• Experience in guiding visually impaired individuals and supporting transfers is an advantage.
• It is also beneficial if you have experience in wheelchair assistance.

About the Position:

Approximately 1.5 hours between 1 PM and 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday. We have one assistant/companion and are now looking for another person to share this position. There may also be opportunities for more hours or to combine this position with other assignments.

According to the law on background checks and God Omsorg's policy, anyone working with minors must present a certificate from the police's criminal record and suspicion register before employment.
