Welcome to us
Do you want to help develop social services in Järva?
We are now looking for a replacement for one of our team leaders who has chosen to move on to another position within the City of Stockholm.
Dependency Unit 1 is one of two units within the Department of Individuals and Families that works with individuals with harmful use and dependency. We meet individuals aged 18 and older. Within the unit, there is a structure where some employees work with young adults (18–29 years) and others with adults aged 30 and older. The unit also has a particular focus on collaboration with child and youth services when our clients are parents. We share premises with the region's addiction care, which enables close and effective cooperation. Currently, there are 12 social workers, 2 team leaders, and 1 unit manager working in the unit.
Individuals and Families Järva consists of five areas and encompasses about 500 employees. We work to strengthen safety, participation, and quality of life for the residents of Järva through a wide range of social interventions. We also offer investigation, support, and interventions for adults who want to leave a life marked by addiction, crime, or violence in close relationships. We also work with the investigation of financial assistance and provide support on the way to self-sufficiency and permanent housing. Preventive work is an important part of our mission and includes, among other things, fieldwork and parental support.
