Workplace Description

The Södermalm District Administration is one of Stockholm's 11 district administrations and includes Södermalm, Reimersholme, Långholmen, Gamla Stan, Riddarholmen, and Hammarby Sjöstad.

There are just over 130,000 residents in the area.

Within the Södermalm District Administration, 1,700 employees are responsible for ensuring that elderly care, preschool, social services, care for people with disabilities, and urban environment are performed in the best possible way for those living in Södermalm.

The Adult Unit works with individuals who have substance abuse issues as well as those with physical and/or mental disabilities and those who are victims or perpetrators of violence. We are part of the Social Department and consist of about 65 employees. We strive to provide people in Södermalm with good service, a welcoming attitude, and professional interventions.

We are now looking for a co-occurring disorder caseworker who will investigate and continuously handle cases where the individual has a co-occurring disorder. This caseworker will belong to the unit's Dependency Group led by a unit manager. The position is one of two co-occurring disorder caseworkers in the unit. We are characterized by a fast pace, good atmosphere, and interest in development work.

At the unit, MI is part of the daily work, and we strive to develop a knowledge-based case management process. The employees are knowledgeable and engaged in their work, and we use co-case management. You will become part of a dynamic unit where you can contribute to making the Södermalm District Administration even better.

Job Description

The work as a co-occurring disorder caseworker for this target group means that you will receive applications/reports and investigate the need for interventions according to SoL/LSS as well as care needs according to LVM. You will assess the client's needs for interventions from various operational areas. You will have a colleague with the same assignment, and together you will form a team. The unit holds regular collaboration meetings regarding the target group, where you as co-occurring disorder caseworkers will play an important role in our development work. The unit's goal is that approved interventions should free the client's own resources and lead to a more independent life. To achieve these goals, you need to drive the work of coordinating resources with various care providers for the client. Establishing coordinated individual plans (SiP) is an established working method at the unit where we would like to continue developing the client's participation.

The Södermalm District Administration works with ASI and Dur as investigation and evaluation instruments. We place great emphasis on follow-up of interventions and create client participation using the instrument UBÅT.

Continuous supervision is included in the work.

Qualifications

We want you to have a degree in social work and previous experience in public authority operations. You have good documentation skills and can express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing. Experience with MI, the operational system Paraplyet, and ASI/Dur training is an advantage.

As a co-occurring disorder caseworker, it is important that you are a stable and independent person. Initiative and a holistic view are important qualities when helping the client achieve their goals. Foresight and structure lead to you managing the various tasks that the job entails while ensuring that the case management is legally secure.

As a co-occurring disorder caseworker, you will face many different questions, which requires that you are both service-oriented and have good problem-solving skills.

A significant part of the work is collaboration with other professionals, which means that the willingness and ability to cooperate both internally and externally are qualities you possess.

Wellness allowance of 3000 SEK during 2026.
