About the Assignment:

A woman who wants you to accompany her to Qigong on Thursdays between 09:30 AM - 11:30 AM and occasionally to an adapted swimming pool to swim with her.

The client has a damaged vertebra and destroyed feet for the past 20 years, as well as weakness in her arms. She is wheelchair-bound, has no balance when standing, and cannot walk but can move between chairs. She needs assistance with showering, toilet visits, and getting dressed after swimming, for which you will use transportation services. The Qigong is nearby, and she will already be changed. However, she needs you to drive/steer her mobility scooter to and from the activity.

Your Qualifications:

It is an advantage if you have worked as a personal assistant and are not afraid to drive the mobility scooter. You should be a woman, as there is a changing area at the swimming pool, and preferably close to her age, 50 years.

About the Position:

7 hours/month. Start as soon as possible.

As a companion, you will accompany a client with a disability on various activities. This may include shopping, visiting museums, or perhaps having a coffee. As a respite provider, you will relieve family members, for example, a child with a disability at home or in the local area. This may be to give parents some personal time with other siblings.

According to the law on background checks and Good Care's policy, anyone working with minors must present a certificate from the police's criminal record and suspicion register before employment.
