JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The leisure centers of Hallstahammar Municipality conduct open activities with planned events for the age group 13-17 years. We are now looking for someone who can support and work as a leisure leader at the leisure center in the Culture House in Hallstahammar and at the leisure center Stationshuset in Kolbäck as needed. The work as a substitute means that you will be called in based on the needs of the operations, sometimes at short notice, for example, during the absence of regular staff or during summer vacation. Work usually takes place in the afternoons and evenings. Weekend shifts may occur.

In this role, you will support regular staff in planning, implementing, and following up on activities and events in collaboration with your colleagues and the youth. You will also have the opportunity to promote young people's influence and community engagement. Your tasks will include working on relationship-building, prevention, and promotion.

We are looking for someone with experience working with children and youth. You work from a positive and solution-focused approach and have a genuine interest in developing children and youth. You have a coaching work style and the courage to be a role model in both fun and tough situations.

We collaborate with schools, youth coaches, social authorities, cultural schools, and libraries.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working with youth aged 13-17 years is an advantage.

We welcome applicants who are multilingual.

You have relevant IT skills and we expect you to hold a B driver's license.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. As a person, you need to be self-driven and quickly able to integrate into the operations, take responsibility for your tasks, and drive your work forward. You have the ability to come up with new ideas and find innovative solutions. You are clearly mature in your values and actions and act accordingly.

We prefer that you have a post-secondary education focused on working with children and youth.
