The working hours are varied with day, evening, and night shifts.
About the client:
The client has a CP injury, functional impairment, and is spastic. She does not speak but communicates through her own sign language or a sign language computer. She lives alone in her own accommodation and values independence.
To thrive in this role, it is important that you respect the client's communication and avoid speaking over her head. She appreciates humor, a playful attitude, and relaxed communication – baby talk and pretentiousness are not welcome!
We are looking for someone who:
Is attentive and patient
Has a good mood and a natural approach to assistance
Ideally has experience with or interest in sign language communication
Can work varied hours
