What you will do

As a personal assistant, you will help create a daily life filled with joy and security. You will support and assist with daily activities, from a fun cooking session to exploring new interests together. The boy attends daily activities 2 days a week, and the shifts are scheduled between 3:00 PM and about 8:20 AM with waiting time overnight. There may be overnight shifts on weekends and days when he is not at daily activities.

What we are looking for

• Education: You have a thirst for knowledge and are ready to learn more – both at work and in life.
• Experience: You have experience working with people and are a natural problem solver. You see solutions rather than problems. You must be able to maintain focus on the client at all times due to fall risk; the client has epilepsy, so if you have experience with that, it's a big plus.
• Knowledge: You are a caring person who can navigate through complexities with empathy and a good laugh. If you have experience working with PECS pictures or can use sign language, we see that as an asset.
