Are you a flexible person who takes responsibility and is engaged in your work tasks? You have a calm demeanor while being playful, and you love working with children? We are looking for assistants who currently have another job but want to work on an as-needed basis.

We are now seeking assistants for a charming 5-year-old boy. The boy lives alternately with his parents in Arboga.

The boy has Bainbridge-Ropers syndrome, intellectual disability, and epilepsy. He has no verbal language and communicates through visual aids, communication boards, and signs (TAKK). If you have experience with any of these, it is a merit, but not a requirement as we highly value personal suitability for the position.

He has a great need for assistance with his daily living activities. He needs help with dressing and undressing, hygiene, communication, and mobility. He requires assistance during meals and also receives food through a feeding tube. He needs support for training/play where you, as an assistant, need to provide stimulation.

The working hours are varied as the boy attends a special school. On weekdays, the working hours vary between 10:00 AM and 9:00 PM, depending on whether it is a school day or a holiday. On weekends, the need is within the time frame of 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

You who are applying should be engaged, flexible, and responsible, and able to be alert as the boy's condition can deteriorate quickly. You need to have personal experience with children with disabilities and a driver's license as well as access to a car.

Other: We have a collective agreement and individual salary setting as well as wellness benefits of up to 4000 SEK/year.
