Client Administrator at the Swedish Prison and Probation Service
The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now looking for more employees. Our primary goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the vicious cycle. If we succeed, society will be safer and more secure for everyone. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation, remand, and client transport.

Operational Area (VO) Tillberga
VO Tillberga consists of a prison with 247 places in security class 3. The prison offers an attractive environment with a well-functioning program and valuable employment through the factory that employs the clients. There are about 100 employees, the majority being correctional officers, but it also includes cooks, production leaders, program leaders, and nurses, among others. The prison is located in Tillberga, just under ten kilometers north of Västerås, and is led by a prison manager along with five correctional inspectors.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a client administrator, you will be particularly responsible for handling clients' legal matters. The work involves investigation and decision-making according to the Prison Act. Together with the correctional inspector/operations manager and with a focus on legal security, you will develop the ongoing legal work, participate in legal forums, be responsible for mentoring correctional officers, and ensuring the quality of clients' execution plans.

You relate to others in a responsive and flexible manner, listen, communicate, and solve problems constructively with your colleagues. You adapt your way of conveying your message based on the recipient's knowledge and circumstances.

Requirements
- Academic education/university degree of at least 120 credits corresponding to 2 years at university in areas deemed relevant by the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, or other education combined with experience deemed relevant.
- Several years of work experience.
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
- Experience in public authority enforcement.
- Experience in case management, preferably within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service.
- Driving license B.
Meritorious
- Experience in correctional services
- Good knowledge of risk, needs, and receptivity principles
- Experience working with a victim perspective
- Relevant experience from other public sectors
- Other relevant language skills beyond Swedish
