Production Developer at Axess Logistics

About the position

We are now looking for a production developer for our production facility in Halmstad and eventually for the site in Gothenburg port. As a production developer, you are expected to be responsible for driving local development and improvement work and be a key player in the company's efforts towards increased productivity and profitability. You will report to the head of production development and will be part of the group-wide development team. The various development projects will come from management, from local teams, and from your own initiatives. Your role is to drive, implement, and execute these initiatives so that all parties are included. The role will work closely with the local management team, and your collaboration will be a crucial and important part of developing and succeeding in the role. Welcome to us!

Additional information

• The position is full-time and a desired start date is 2025-03-01
• The employment type is permanent, starting with a probation period
• In the long run, travel between different production facilities will occur as this role is also expected to participate in development initiatives in other locations

Responsibilities

Your main tasks as a Production Developer will be to:

• Support and educate the local organization and management regarding various development areas and present improvement proposals and actions that align with set goals
• Act as a catalyst and ensure progress and goal fulfillment in local development and improvement work
• Create participation and forums for best practice and organizational learning
• Create production technical and system prerequisites for measurement, follow-up, reporting, analysis, and visualization in the production apparatus
• Standardized KPI follow-up and continuous reporting of performance metrics
• Profitability analyses and dialogue with the marketing department
• Assist management with forecasting, order stock preparation, and calculation of resource needs for optimized production planning
• Be active in group-wide digitalization projects and in the implementation of digital solutions/tools

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is analytical and structured, with a proven ability to initiate, drive, and complete complex improvement projects. You are skilled at managing many parallel tasks and thrive in an environment that requires you to be independent and confident in your decisions. At the same time, you are unpretentious and a humble team player who actively works to be inclusive. Your pedagogical and situationally adapted communication makes you comfortable speaking in front of groups, coaching, guiding, and educating others.

• Academic degree in a relevant field or equivalent education that the employer deems comparable
• Work experience from a similar role within logistics or production
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Driver's license B

It is also meritorious if you have experience in:

• Working in business systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365)
• Working in analysis systems and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
• Machine learning / AI
• Planning within production and/or logistics
