At Advanced Automation West in Varberg and Gothenburg, we work with the market's largest customers in automation, forestry, infrastructure, paper/pulp, and energy. Job Description

As an electrical designer with us, you will be responsible for projects within industrial operations. You will work on the design of control cabinets, upgrades, and new constructions, as well as commissioning, system descriptions, and project management within electrical engineering. You will work with clients in forestry, process, energy, and automation. Here’s how one of the team members describes their job:

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is engaged, curious, and interested in technology. You have:

• Post-secondary education in a relevant technical field
• Extensive experience in electrical design within industrial automation
• Good knowledge of CAD tools such as Eplan and/or ElproCad
• Driver's license (B) as part of your work will be conducted at our clients' premises
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form as you will use both languages daily in the role

It is advantageous if you have experience in electrical cabinet design, machine safety, and cost estimation, as well as knowledge in sizing and selective plans and experience with multiple CAD tools.

The position may require you to work on our classified security projects. This means that a security clearance will be conducted according to Swedish legislation on security protection. To meet the requirements, you need to hold a citizenship that complies with the regulations of the security protection ordinance, and no obstacles may exist according to the criteria for security classification
