We are now looking for an experienced PLC programmer who will play a significant role in our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for PLC programming and control of machines, pumps, and systems. You will also be involved in the selection of components such as sensors, pumps, and panels.

Your tasks

As an automation engineer with us, you will work with:

• PLC programming and control of machines, pumps, and systems: Develop and maintain PLC programs for our production systems.
• Component selection: Participate in the selection of components such as sensors, pumps, and panels to optimize our systems.
• Feasibility studies and investigations: Conduct feasibility studies and investigations to identify and implement areas for improvement.
• Technical support: Provide technical support to the production department to ensure smooth processes.
• Norms and standards: Ensure that the work complies with all applicable norms and standards.
• FAT and SAT: Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) to verify system performance.

Your qualifications

For the role of automation engineer, we wish that you have:

• University education in automation: A relevant degree from a university or college.
• At least 3 years of work experience in PLC programming: Practical experience in programming and maintaining PLC systems.
• Experience with control systems: Familiarity with control systems such as Siemens, Mitsubishi, ABB.
• Work experience in PLC programming: Experience programming PLC for products and machines in a production environment.
• Experience in commissioning and electrical design: Experience in commissioning and electrical design is a merit.
• Experience in automation within hydropower or nuclear power: Experience in automation from hydropower or nuclear power is a merit.
• Valid driver's license for manual car: A valid driver's license is required to travel to different locations in the job.
