We are now looking for a power systems engineer in control systems who wants to be part of our dedicated team and help our customers in power and station solutions. The assignments will be with one of our key customers in the electrical grid and infrastructure, where you will have the opportunity to work in a technically advanced environment with high impact. Here you step in as an important player in a team working with protection systems, commissioning, and configuration of control equipment in some of Sweden's most exciting network projects. 

About the role: As a control systems engineer with us, you will have a varied everyday life where you work both in the field and theoretically, often in the most critical phases of projects. Examples of tasks:

• Maintenance testing and configuration of relay protection
• Function testing during commissioning of stations
• Troubleshooting and fault rectification in switchgear and control equipment
• Work with RTU and remote communication systems
• Customer contact and technical support in projects

Who are you? We believe you have:

• Education as a university or college engineer with a focus on power systems or equivalent work experience
• At least 3 years of experience in control systems, commissioning, or relay testing
• Basic understanding of relay protection systems, RTU, SCADA, and control equipment
• Experience with voltage levels from 10kV up to 400kV
• A solution-oriented approach and a confident presence with customers

You are a team player who does not hesitate to take initiative. You enjoy technology, are curious to develop, and contribute to a good and safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Driver's license B
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Basic computer skills (Office, test reports, etc.)

Location:

Travel is required in the position, and placement will be in dialogue and depending on the assignment. The setup is flexible based on your preferences, and assignments can also be managed remotely to some extent, for example, from one of IC Energy's offices.
