Medical Technology Engineer at Medical Technology Halland

Responsibilities

As a medical technology engineer, you will be an important link between technology and care. You will work closely with the core operations of healthcare and collaborate with various professional groups, suppliers, and authorities. The work is varied and developing, and you will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of medical technology equipment and participate in procurement and implementation projects. You will also be a discussion partner in safety and strategic technical issues and provide technical advice to the healthcare operations.

About the workplace

Medical Technology Halland supports and develops healthcare in Region Halland with safe medical technology products and services. We are over 70 employees – engineers, technicians, hospital physicists, and administrators – who together work to create the best possible health by being close, proactive, and professional.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a relevant university education or experience that we consider equivalent. Knowledge in medical technology, electronics, or IT is an advantage. You are communicative, meticulous, responsible, outgoing, and unpretentious. You should be able to work independently to a high degree while also having the ability to collaborate both within the department and with our customers in healthcare and suppliers. The work requires good IT system knowledge as much equipment is connected to various IT systems. Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English as well as a B driver's license are required. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
