Every day, the Tenants' Association, its elected representatives, employees, and members contribute to improving housing for people. We have been doing this for many years, and we want to continue advocating for tenants' interests, rights, and opportunities to influence their housing in the future.

Do you want a job where you meet new people every day and make a real difference? As a membership recruiter at the Tenants' Association, you will become a key person in our people's movement. Your mission is clear: through personal meetings at tenants' doors, you will recruit members who strengthen both the individual's voice and the entire organization.

Your Mission

This is a job for you who enjoy making contact, creating short but trustful conversations, and who gets energy from working towards clear goals. Here, the salesperson's drive and results focus are combined with the people's movement's commitment and social benefit. No day is like the other, but every day makes a difference.

You will be the face of the Tenants' Association, the one who meets tenants in everyday life and listens to their experiences. The work is independent, yet you are part of a recruitment team where both the team leader and colleagues are close at hand to support you in your work and development. Together with your colleagues in the recruitment team, you play a crucial role in helping us achieve our goals as an organization.

Your Background

To succeed in this role, you need to have experience in sales or recruitment. This can be from various contexts; perhaps you have recruited monthly donors, sold alarms or subscriptions through home visits, worked in retail with sales, or recruited members in an organization. The important thing is that you know what it is like to work towards clear goals and that you get energy from seeing the results of your work.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys working in outreach activities in residential areas around the region. Your goal is to recruit new members by knocking on doors, creating trustful meetings, and showing how a membership in the Tenants' Association can make a difference.
  • Is responsible for preparing your work shifts by gathering relevant information, processing your assigned area, and staying updated on current issues for the organization. Therefore, you also need to be proactive and enjoy working independently.

Qualifications:

  • You are results-oriented and motivated to work towards set goals.
  • You find it easy to build relationships and are solution-focused.
  • Independent and engaged
  • You enjoy working evenings
  • Several years of work experience

Meritorious:

  • Experience from non-profit organizations or community life
  • Good knowledge of the housing sector
  • Language skills beyond Swedish, such as Arabic, Finnish, Kurdish, Farsi, or Somali

Personal Qualities:

We are looking for someone who is social, outgoing, and enjoys meeting new people. You gain energy from working purposefully and achieving results by building trust in your interactions with others. You are curious, driven, and can take responsibility for your work while enjoying contributing to a common goal together with your colleagues.

Our Offer to You

We are a values-driven organization with a strong sense of community and good employment conditions. We care about our employees having a good and pleasant work environment. Here, you have the opportunity to develop and grow.

Collective agreements, flexible working hours, the possibility of hybrid work, a generous wellness allowance, and occupational pension are some of the benefits we offer. With us, you will collaborate with colleagues you can have fun with and learn from.

Application

Welcome with your application today or no later than January 31. The position is a permanent full-time employment starting by agreement. The employment begins with a six-month probationary period. We have collective agreements, and the salary is commission-based with a fixed base salary. The position includes travel, so a driver's license and access to a car are required. Working hours are scheduled Monday to Thursday from 12:00 to 21:15 and Fridays from 09:00 to 14:30.

Our union representatives are Handels Abdi Abdikadir 0104592402, Saco Malin Krafve 0104592416
