Ågrenska is a unique, developing meeting place and a national competence center for rare diagnoses. We operate activities from a holistic perspective for children, adolescents, and adults with disabilities, their relatives, and professionals. Ågrenska is beautifully located on Lilla Amundön, 15 km south of Gothenburg and is owned by the Ågrenska Foundation, which is a non-profit organization. Ågrenska conducts short-term stays and daily activities, family activities, adult activities, personal assistance, family support, as well as courses and training.
We are now looking for a Fundraising Manager who wants to take a comprehensive approach to our important fundraising work and help create long-term conditions for our operations.
About the role
As a Fundraising Manager, you will be responsible for developing and driving Ågrenska's fundraising towards companies, foundations, and other partners according to set goals. The work is both strategic and operational and involves close collaboration with the operations manager and other colleagues in marketing and communication. You will initiate and manage collaborations, build relationships, and actively work to strengthen Ågrenska's business network in order to increase fundraising in the long term.
You will plan, implement, and follow up on fundraising campaigns in both digital and physical channels and be responsible for planning and executing fundraising events – from idea to evaluation. The role also includes sales and coordination of Ågrenska's training for companies, public organizations, and interest organizations. An important part of the assignment is to analyze fundraising data and market trends, as well as to continuously develop new working methods. You will also contribute to a strong internal anchoring of the fundraising work and to create engagement and consensus within the organization.
We are looking for someone who has
Relevant post-secondary education in marketing, communication, or equivalent
Solid experience in relationship-based fundraising and/or B2B sales with a clear results focus
Good understanding of how communication and marketing contribute to fundraising and business results
Experience working with digital channels, campaigns, and conversion strategies
Experience in project management and event planning
Familiarity with working structured in CRM systems as well as fundraising and payment platforms
Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good stylistic ability in content work
If you also have experience working in the non-profit sector and are accustomed to writing applications to foundations and funds, we see it as a great plus. Likewise, if you have knowledge of AI in daily work, as well as experience working in CMS systems or equivalent.
As a person, you are business-minded and proactive. You are communicative and have an easy time collaborating and building good relationships, while also enjoying driving your work independently. In this role, it is also a prerequisite that you are structured and solution-oriented.

Employment form: Permanent. Ågrenska applies a six-month probationary period. Working hours are mainly office hours, Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexible working hours. Evening and weekend work may occur, for example, for participation in events, fairs, or similar.
