Friday is looking for a Junior Buyer on behalf of a client to join a team of 6 people working with indirect marketing purchases. This may involve purchasing marketing services, events, concepts, commercials, and campaigns, among others. The department you will be part of supports the entire company regarding marketing services, events, and business intelligence, where the supplier base is both global and local.

You will, for example:

• Plan, source, and follow up on project purchases.
• Be responsible for several suppliers, ensuring healthy relationships and being a single point of contact for these suppliers within the company.
• Optimize the supplier base with a focus on sustainability, quality, and other strategic parameters.
• Drive initiatives for continuous improvements in collaboration with the team.
• Actively contribute to the team's development by providing improvement ideas and supporting your colleagues.

• Has a post-secondary education in industrial economics, economics, marketing, purchasing, supply chain, or a related field.
• Has commercial work experience, for example, in sales or equivalent.
• Thrives in an international organization with broad contact areas.
• Is fluent in English and Swedish in both spoken and written form, as the languages are communicated both internally and externally.

It is an advantage if you:

• Have experience in purchasing, preferably in a global organization.
• Possess knowledge in marketing and/or marketing purchases.

This is a consultancy assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday with good opportunities to eventually transition to a permanent position with the client.
