The Department of Children and Education works on behalf of the preschool committee and the primary school committee. The department is responsible for preschool activities, school-age childcare, primary school, and adapted primary school. Job Responsibilities

To be selected to work with us, you must be flexible, curious, attentive, welcoming, and open to continuous development. You need to have knowledge about our student group and understand the demands placed on you as someone working with us. You are expected to perform all aspects of the educational mission at an adapted primary school and take responsibility for contributing to the clarity and care required to build a safe climate in which our students can grow.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who knows what this mission requires and is certain that this is what you want to work with. Someone who has prior knowledge and experience with this student group, who is passionate about our students, and who has the attention and patience required to gain their trust and be worthy of their attention.

We are looking for someone who dreams of working with us and can clearly motivate why you want to do so. We expect you to have a drive that makes you visit our website before writing your application for this position. That you familiarize yourself with how we work and based on that motivate why you should work with us. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

We provide introductory training in the tools we use during your first year with us. You do not need to have them all in place when you start, but you need to have the right attitude towards the mission and the students.

As many of our students have speech and language difficulties, you need to have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Education/experience with students with care needs.
• Pedagogical experience with children and youth with diagnoses within NPF.
• Pedagogical experience with children and youth with combined diagnoses of IF and autism.
• Pedagogical experience with children and youth with multi-functional variations.
• Experience with, or willingness to learn PEG, lifts, tube feeding.

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Knowledge of sign communication, such as visual support/objects.
• Childcare education.
• Experience with clarifying pedagogy.

For this position, you need to be able to present a valid extract from the criminal record before employment can commence.
