About the American High School, Stockholm - Campus Frescati Hage

At Brunnsviken in the picturesque Norra Djurgårdsstaden, we started a high school in the autumn of 2023. The school is now in its third academic year and has about 450 students studying in the Natural Sciences, Economics, or Social Sciences programs. Teaching is conducted in both English and Swedish by a competent teaching staff with a strong sense of community.

About the role

As a teacher, you will teach our students mathematics. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, assessing, and evaluating your own teaching. You are expected to lead lessons based on our pedagogical structure, for which you will receive guidance. You will teach in a digital environment using digital learning materials in combination with traditional literature. Instruction will take place in both Swedish and English.

The position is a permanent employment at 70%, with an initial probationary period of 6 months. Start date January 7, 2026. We are also currently recruiting English teachers. If you are able to teach both mathematics and English, the position can be expanded to 100% and include mentorship.

Your profile

We are primarily looking for someone with a teaching license and experience in teaching, who is qualified to teach mathematics. You have a strong commitment to teaching and want to help develop the organization together with a strong team of colleagues, sharing our educational vision:

You are expected to have good communication skills in both Swedish and English, in both spoken and written forms. You have the ability to use a wide range of digital learning materials and possess a solid digital competence.
