We are looking for a

substitute teacher in wood and metal craft grades 3-9

The geographical area of the principal's area of Värmdö Archipelago Schools begins at Fågelbrolandet in Strömma, extends out to the sea, and includes all islands without bridge connections.

The principal's area currently consists of three F-9 schools: Djurö School located on the mainland and Runmarö School and Svartsö School located on islands without bridge connections. A total of approximately 320 students attend the principal's area. You will work at Djurö School.

You will teach wood and metal craft in grades 3-9. As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of the teaching in the groups you teach. You will have close collaboration regarding planning and student health with colleagues in the work teams as well as other educators, school leaders, and student health teams at Djurö. As a teacher in the principal's area of Värmdö Archipelago Schools, the mission is to achieve goals for all students. Part of the position also involves teaching advanced Swedish and English.

We are looking for someone who is a certified craft teacher for primary school, preferably in combination with another subject. You have well-documented experience in pedagogical work with students. You have a conscious pedagogical approach where student participation and responsibility are a given. It is important that you are secure in your professional role and that you are clear towards children, parents, and colleagues.

For this position, presenting a valid extract from the police criminal record is a prerequisite for employment.
