The Upper Secondary and Labor Market Administration is responsible for labor market initiatives, financial assistance, receiving newcomers and quota refugees, as well as upper secondary school, adult education, and summer internships.
About the position
Sågbäcksgymnasiet is a municipal upper secondary and adapted upper secondary school in Huddinge Municipality. We primarily educate our students in vocational programs and introductory programs and have a close collaboration with the business community and various industries. The school has modern, well-equipped facilities that support both practical and theoretical learning.

Your mission
As the APL and internship coordinator at Sågbäcksgymnasiet, you play a key role in students' education and their path to working life. The mission is both strategic and operational and involves close collaboration with students, vocational teachers, program teams, school management, and external employers. You are responsible for coordinating, developing, and following up on students' APL/internships with a particular focus on students who need extra support to succeed.
The position is 80%. Start date is as soon as possible by agreement.
Job responsibilities
Your tasks include, among others:
- coordinating and developing APL and internship placements within the school's programs
- establishing and maintaining good contacts with employers and industry representatives
- supporting students before, during, and after APL/internships
- conducting follow-ups and, if necessary, accompanying students to internship sites
- working closely with APL coordinators in respective programs
- contributing to the school's attendance-promoting work and student health efforts
- collaborating with internal and external actors, such as KAA and other organizations
- contributing to the development of routines, quality, and sustainability in the school's APL work
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who:
- is an educated study and career counselor or upper secondary school teacher (preferably vocational teacher)
- has experience working in upper secondary school, preferably with vocational and/or introductory programs
- has good industry knowledge and understanding of labor market demands
- has experience with similar tasks, such as APL, internship, or coordination work
- is relational, communicative, and confident in meeting students, colleagues, and employers
- is structured, solution-oriented, and enjoys a coordinating role
Meritorious:
- experience with APL/internship work in upper secondary school
- experience working with students in need of extra support
- established network within relevant industries
