We belong to the Learning and Culture Administration, which is one of our six administrations in Lidingö municipality. We have approximately 1,400 employees working in many different areas, together forming the core of Lidingö's education, culture, and sports. From the city's open preschool, preschools, primary schools to high schools and adult education, we ensure that knowledge and learning are at the center. And when the school day ends? We are ready with everything from the library's bookshelves, music school, and theater to sports activities and the community of associations.

Lidingö municipality has 12 municipal primary schools, where we focus on knowledge and enjoyable learning, which is reflected in our good academic results. We offer a school that is part of the digital society and place great importance on preparing students for the future. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will teach in the native language Dutch. Your responsibilities include lesson planning, teaching, follow-up, evaluation, communication with guardians, and grading. You provide students with the guidance and stimulation they need in their learning and personal development based on their own conditions. You will be part of a work team and collaborate with colleagues, teachers, and other staff at the school.

The instruction in the native language aims to develop the student's knowledge of and about their native language. Access to their own native language also facilitates the student's language development and learning in other school subjects. Within our organization, we actively work with various digital platforms, accessibility, and collegial learning.

As a native language teacher, you are responsible for each student's education in their native language in the teaching groups assigned to you. Other tasks may also occur, and the content and conditions of the work may change over time. The teaching is primarily scheduled for Thursday afternoons.

QUALIFICATIONS

For this position, you are required to have a Swedish teaching qualification and be well acquainted with the school's governing documents such as the Education Act and curriculum. You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language and the language you will be teaching. Furthermore, you have documented previous experience in native language instruction and a good understanding of the opportunities and challenges of bilingualism.

The city applies individual salary setting. Start date by agreement.

The position is a fixed-term employment of 15% until June 17, 2026.
