Ängskolan, with approximately 1000 students, is a municipal F-9 school in central Sundbyberg, close to nature and good transportation links. Job Description:

The position is a permanent part-time role at 60%.

As a study and career counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Informing and guiding students regarding education and career paths
• Participating in student health initiatives
• Planning and structuring collaboration with educational staff
• Coordinating fairs, events, and similar activities
• Coordinating school and business relations, including contributing to a theme week for grade 9
• Conducting high school information sessions for students and guardians
• Being involved in developing a SYV plan for the entire school from an F-9 perspective
• Collaboration with guardians and other external entities is also a crucial part of the role

To succeed in your role, it is important to be flexible, communicative, and able to build trusting relationships with students, school staff, and guardians.

You are confident, responsible, and have a knack for collaboration. Personal qualities are highly valued.

As a SYV at Ängskolan, you will have an independent role and need to have a good ability to plan and organize your work effectively.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who is a trained study and career counselor with a strong interest in working with children and youth. Previous experience as a SYV in an F-9 school is an advantage.
