Tallbohovskolan has 400 students in grades F-6. The schools are multicultural, and many families are bilingual or multilingual. Within the organization, there is also a municipal resource school and adapted primary school.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for an engaged and attentive teacher with a positive outlook! Your responsibilities will include being a teaching teacher at the school's middle stage, primarily in Math/Science, as well as having mentorship responsibility for one of the classes.

Together with other educators in the work team, you will be responsible for creating and developing a safe and secure environment that attracts and challenges students to activity, learning, and responsibility. You want to be part of driving pedagogical development, using current research and applying it in your work. You will plan and follow up on teaching and analyze and assess results.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has an easy time collaborating with students, colleagues, guardians, and other staff. You relate to children and adults in a responsive and smooth manner and listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts constructively. You see collegial learning as a given and a prerequisite for creating new and deepened knowledge.
• Plans, organizes, and prioritizes work effectively. You develop students' ability to learn and involve them in planning the activities. You have high and positive expectations for the students and are solution-focused. Furthermore, you possess a strong desire to create the best pedagogical conditions for the students.
• Has a positive attitude towards work and acts in accordance with decisions made, operational plans, goals, policies, and guidelines.
• You have good self-awareness, are secure in yourself and your pedagogical leadership, and have the ability to take leadership both inside and outside the classroom. You work independently and are flexible.

Requirements:

• Are a licensed teacher in the middle school.

Meritorious:

• Previous experience in pedagogical work.
• Experience working in a multicultural school.

The position requires good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
