In the autumn of 2017, Ebba Braheskolan opened on Kvarnholmen. Our vision is to provide world-class education with a love for learning and to give our students the best knowledge development in Sweden.

We are now looking for a French teacher for Ebba Braheskolan.

Your responsibilities

The position is a temporary contract at 50% and includes teaching modern languages for grades 6 - 9.

The role includes mentorship for one of our classes in junior high school.

You are a qualified teacher in French with solid subject knowledge and a great ability to meet each individual student with passion and commitment. You are a clear leader in the classroom and understand the importance of teaching being creative and stimulating, while also being based on research and proven methods. You are unpretentious and curious, and you enjoy sharing your knowledge with your colleagues. You are passionate about achieving good results and thrive in a changing environment where initiative is highly valued.

The school and Kvarnholmen

Ebba Braheskolan is located on Kvarnholmen, close to forest and sea. Although Kvarnholmen is primarily associated with industry, it largely consists of archipelago nature, and at the eastern tip of the island, right next to the schools, the existing green area is now being developed into an oasis with activities and recreation. There are good transport links to Kvarnholmen, and you can take the bus from Slussen in about 15 minutes. You can also take the boat from Nybroplan or Lidingö, which takes you to Kvarnholmen in 20 minutes.
