ÖSBYSKOLAN IS LOOKING FOR A TEACHING ASSISTANT FOR SCHOOL/AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM

About the Position

Ösbyskolan is looking for someone who wants to work extra in school and after-school programs. You can be a teaching assistant or have other experience working with children/child groups. You will work in one of our class teams and in the after-school program. We spend a lot of time outdoors and engage in creative activities. Together with the other staff, you will ensure that the program maintains a high pedagogical standard.

Qualifications

As a person, you are curious, stable, and committed, and you want to develop in your work. You have the ability to build good relationships with students, colleagues, and parents. You have a positive attitude, convey joy, and see the strengths and opportunities of all children. It is important for you to allow students to be involved and have influence over their learning. You have high expectations and can meet students with both support and challenges based on their needs. You collaborate well with colleagues and are happy to share your knowledge and learn together with others, while also being able to drive your own work forward. You have good digital competence and are curious about trying new methods and tools. We place great importance on personal suitability.

About Ösbyskolan

Ösbyskolan is located in the heart of Djursholm. We are an independent F-3 school with 100 students where everyone knows each other, big and small. The small size is important to us, as it provides both students and teachers with a peaceful working environment and time to find joy in learning. We have a high staff density with at least two educators in each class team. The school is highly appreciated by students, parents, and staff.
